About Duck Day

This is our 8th anniversary! We thank everyone for the huge amount of interest and participation over the years. This year we will be bigger and better than ever.

On June 2, 2013 the Naugatuck Chamber will be holding the sixth Annual Duck Day and Race in Downtown Naugatuck.

The idea to create a new community and business event was born seven years ago at a committee meeting of the Naugatuck Chamber board of directors. A small group of members with the leadership of Chamber director Lynn Ward created what is now known as Duck Day with the largest duck race in Connecticut!

The Naugatuck Chamber has contributed over two hundred thousand dollars to the participating non-profit community. Duck Day is a wholesome good old fashioned collaboration between the Naugatuck Chamber, Waterbury Regional Chamber and the Borough of Naugatuck. The mission is to create a safe, fun day that brings the community together for a great cause.
